Serving the Houston area for 50 years, the after-school care and summer kids' camp at St. Luke's United Methodist Church are school-year and summer ministry programs of trusted, quality care for children in Kindergarten through 8th grade.
ASC & Kids' Camp Goals
- Provide children with a secure, nurturing, supervised environment.
- Reflect an atmosphere of Christian love and understanding.
- Provide children with opportunities in emotional, intellectual, physical, social, creative, and spiritual growth and development.
- Engage children with fun, enriching, age-appropriate activities

Our
programs provide
children
with opportunities for cognitive,
emotional, physical, social, and spiritual growth through educational
enrichment and study time, physical recreation and sports, fine arts,
artistic expression, and individual, one-on-one, and group interactive
activities. Our programs are based on Christian principles and offer
fun, fellowship, and friendship to the children we serve.
We serve children of all races, nationalities, and religions.

Licensure
and Certification
ASC and Summer Kids' Kamp Programs are licensed by the Texas
Department
of Family & Protective Services.
All staff and counselors
participate in yearly staff training and professional development
offered by the Houston
Area Association for the Education of Young Children
(HAAEYC). All
of our counselors are trained and certified in CPR and First-Aid.
