Register for After-School Care

ASC runs during the school year. Enrollment is limited, so sign up early! We're looking forward to seeing your child for an exciting, exhilarating school year of great experiences.

Important Dates

June 15, 2010 ASC 10-11 registration begins & continues until enrollment is full. You may pick up and submit ASC Registration Packets to the After-School Care Office in the Activities Center. You may also download the forms from this site (see below).
August 18, 2010 ASC Parent Orientation for new parents, 12 noon - 1 pm. Please plan to attend.
August 23, 2010 First day of school for HISD. ASC begins school pick-up.

Fees (per child)

Registration Fee (non-refundable)

  • St. Luke's Member: $50.00
  • Non-Member: $100.00

Tuition

  • (Monday - Friday, 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.)
  • Please check the calendar for After School Care closures.

Monthly Child Care

August 23, 2010 - May 25, 2011

With Transportation

  • 1st child: $355.00
  • 2nd/3rd child: $285.00

Without Transportation

  • 1st child: $295.00
  • 2nd/3rd child: $225.00

Note: August HISD school days are included in September tuition.

All Day Care

$45.00 per child

  • Holidays or In-Service Days, 7:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
  • Most school holidays, regardless of arrival time

Registration Procedures

  1. Pick up a registration packet in the After-School Care Office in the Activities Center or download files and complete all forms. The Medical Form must be completed by the child's physician. (Check-ups and immunizations must be up to date within a year and carry through the duration of ASC attendance.) The Authorization for Treatment Card needs to be notarized. All forms must be turned in by August 13, 2010.
  2. When registering, return the completed forms, the non-refundable registration fee, and payment for the month of September (see Payment Guidelines). Make check payable to St. Luke's United Methodist Church.

Important Notes

  1. Registration Fee and first month payments are non-refundable.
  2. No refunds are given when your child is absent or when the center is closed due to holidays or bad weather.
  3. Outstanding balances for any church program must be paid in full before registration.

Licensure and Certification
ASC and Summer Kids' Kamp Programs are licensed by the Texas Department of Family & Protective Services. All staff and counselors participate in yearly staff training and professional development offered by the Houston Area Association for the Education of Young Children (HAAEYC). All of our counselors are trained and certified in CPR and First-Aid.
